A few years ago I bought a pin machine so I could make pins for myself as my own sales products.
I have also been happy to receive custom work and have noticed that others also have a need for pins tailored to their own needs. In this text, I will tell you in more detail what kind of pins you can order from me.
Finnish handicrafts
I make my pins, like all my products, by hand in Kotka. My pin machine and pin components are also purchased from Finland, the components are made in the United States.
The pins are of high quality, and after two years of use, I still don't notice any difference between mine and new ones.
I make pins for customers to order with the customer's photo. There is no minimum order quantity, although the price per piece is lower the larger the order.
Each new image has its own stages of work before pins can be made as a quick batch job. That's why I start my pricing with an initial fee that includes editing the new image to make it pin-worthy.

Pin size
At the moment I can only produce pins with a diameter of 38mm. I need my own machines to produce pins of different sizes and I am considering purchasing them in the future. If you need to order large quantities, thousands of pieces, please contact me so that we can expedite the purchase of a suitable size machine.
In the pictures you can see 38mm size pins. I personally like this size the most because it is small enough to fit in many places but you can still see the text clearly.
What kind of image is suitable for a pin?
Pins are small, so a clear image with high color contrast and no unnecessary small details works best. By reducing the image on your computer screen to three centimeters, you can get an idea of how it will look on the pin.
The circular shape is also worth considering when designing. There is more space in the middle than at the top and bottom. For example, in a text pin, the middle is where the most letters fit.
The paper of the pin also folds behind the pin and it looks best if the same background of the pin continues there too.
I print images in CMYK color format, and the colors of images designed in the same format are best reproduced similarly.
